Did you know that almost all keyboards use a 3 volt battery and many of them are soldered directly to the mainboard? Every time you have to change the battery it requires removing the mainboard, heating up your soldering iron, de-soldering the old battery and soldering in the new. Of course each time you do that you risk damaging the mainboard. With this battery holder you solder it in once, attach it in a convenient location tape or velcro and then all future battery changes take only seconds with no risk of damage to your cherished keyboard. Includes type 2032 3v battery, battery holder with lead wires. It has an on/off switch but for use with keyboards it should be left on at all times.
